Some previews hit differently. When I saw the first image of the Black Shores rising out of that thick digital fog, I knew my Rover days were about to get a whole lot weirder—and I mean that in the best way.

Even now, in 2026, I still go back to these preview notes. The dev team said it perfectly: it's crazy how time flies. We were already halfway through Version 1.2 'In the Turquoise Moonglow,' and the Moonlit Fair had been a blast. I was running around Jinzhou collecting festival goodies, but my mind kept drifting beyond the borders. New stories were unfolding out there, and I got a sneak peek that I just have to talk about.

🔮 The Black Shores

The Black Shores is an archipelago shrouded in mystery and turmoil. It is sealed away from the world under thick digital fog. The preview left a lot unsaid—when will the veil lift? Who will do it? Some things are better left under that fog for now, but the idea of a place that once shouldered the task of connecting the world gives me chills.

🌀 Youhu and the New QTE Twist

I'm not usually one to get hyped over combat changes, but Youhu sounds different. The devs said they've cooked up something special. Her Resonance Skill and Resonance Liberation come with new QTE mechanics. That is a big deal for someone like me who loves rhythm and quick decision-making. It's fun, it's unique, and I already know I'll mess up the timing at least twenty times before it clicks.

🌉 Portal Puzzles, Hedgepuff, and a Scary Boss

Portals are being added to some puzzle-solving scenarios. The preview teased that we can hop between different areas, or even... and then it cut off. Rude, honestly. I love a good mystery, so I'm already imagining the speedrun routes.

Then there's Hedgepuff, a little special enemy you can unlock by completing collection quests in the Black Shores. Keep an eye out for them—they're scattered across the shores, waiting for Rovers brave enough to test their skills. Cute? Probably. Dangerous? Absolutely.

And if that wasn't enough, there's Fallacy of No Return. The name alone sounds like a warning. According to the preview, it's a heavily redacted entity created by the Tethys System, patrolling the borders between reality and the digital world. I have so many questions, and honestly, I'm not sure I want all the answers.

🔥 Inferno Rider Tactical Hologram

The Tactical Hologram is expanding with new challenges, starting with Inferno Rider. I can already hear my dodge button crying. The devs promised even more exciting and challenging battle content in future updates. Be ready—because I am definitely not ready.

🐑 Small Wooly, Big Adventures

This one hit me right in the heart. Encore is getting a companion story called 'Small Wooly, Big Adventures.' Every story is an extension of life, and adventure is the beginning of a story. Encore extends a special invitation, and as her closest friend, I get to join the Wooly Warrior. I mean, how could I say no? There's something soft and warm about that story, like a bedtime tale before a big fight.

🎉 Don't Sleep on the Moon-Chasing Festival

While all this new stuff was brewing, the Moon-Chasing Festival featured event 'By Moon's Grace' was still in full swing in Jinzhou. You could claim Astrite and material rewards, and raise Popularity for the upcoming 'Converging Paths' event. The best part? A free 5-Star Resonator Xiangli Yao was up for grabs. I already told my friends: do not miss this. Free five-star characters are not a myth, apparently.

Of course, the preview mentioned that everything was still in development and might not represent final quality. But that's okay. Part of the fun is watching how those rough edges sharpen. I'll be over here, checking the fog, practicing my QTE timing, and waiting for Encore to call me for that Wooly adventure.
